My public declaration, getting unstuck, & embracing our unique motivational needs
I'm updating my client workbook. It's already been a rollercoaster. 🎢

This is a project I've wanted to do for a whiiiiiiile now. My perspective and tools as a coach have shifted and expanded, and I want this tool, as part of my coaching services, to reflect that.

It feels like a big deal because it is a major curation of my body of work. Every client that purchases a coaching package gets a workbook. It's a complement to the discussions and exercises we are doing in sessions. It's a place to gather insights from the coaching process. It's also a personal and professional reflection space that you aren't going to get with a formal review process with an employer.

It's been a rollercoaster already because I said I would start this project in early 2026, after launching my new website. But then life happened, my partner broke his leg, and a lot of projects were put on hold.

And then I had a hard time starting.

Then I found a few folks who were willing to be my accountability buddies, who I could send an updated chapter a week. Sounded like a good plan. But I still didn't start.

Then I paid an friend and editor to help me make sure that this was going to be done with a critical eye and possibly even published as a book in the future. Now I was paying money, so I had to start ...right? Still couldn't bring myself to focus on it.

I came to terms that I was thoroughly stuck, shame spiralling from having STILL not done it, and stumped about what I needed to get going. And now avoiding it wholeheartedly.

AND I recognize I am worthy of help.

I met with Ryn Kingsley for a Creative Reset session. They helped me figure out that I needed a way to do it that would make it feel new and energizing, and more importantly, that this work matters - because it does!

Part of this was wanting to share and celebrate the progress publicly with my people.

So here I am, celebrating that my Kind Bold Badass workbook is entering her makeover era. She'll be known as The Changemakers Toolkit going forward. I'm thinking that instead of "chapters" or "modules" each section is a new tool to help my changemaker clients lead and make decisions with more confidence, self-compassion, and adaptability. And this toolkit grows as we work together and build custom tools together.

My goal is to help you become the confident changemaker you want to be, in your career and beyond. This is one more way of helping you accomplish that!

So much of our culture glorifies independence but what if we glorified community and interdependence instead? How are you seeking help in your day-to-day life?
